Pretty Little Hippy Chicks!

Ruffle Pants $25.00 + $6.00 postage.

If you go down to the woods today...

How cool is this! We took the girls down to the park at Middlerock to take some photos of the new pants I had made, we were looking for the baby rabbits we had seen in the bush! The rabbits had scattered but this little mumma bear hadn't, she was wandering around on the ground with her ever so cute baby on her back!
I am so glad to see the koalas back, especially with babies too!

This is Amy,wearing the purple voile, ruffle pants which co ordinate so well with the
More colours to come!!!
Amy wasn't the most keen model in the world this weekend, so we bribed her with the purple pants, if she didn't wear them her sister Ashleigh would! And I would make her a purple flower headband. Well it looks pretty good and Amy loves it, and Grandma's vintage buttons are the perfect finishing touches!

And to Jayden who was 7 yesterday, Happy Birthday
I Love You!

Last Page of Jack's Pirate Adventure

I have finally made the last page for Jack's book. There are a few pages in between that might need a bit of tweaking/editing. But its almost done and I am really happy with the "almost" end result.
See Miss Precious in the flying submarine with Jack, well you have just met Amy, Amy is Bonnie to Jack's Clyde and any adventure these two are about to embark on is bound to end up in trouble.....
Amy has a caravan at middlerock too! (at least her mum and dad, and nanny and poppy do). Every one at Middlerock knows who Amy and Jack are, they're good friends and they're often in trouble!
They are a pair of adventurers!

Its Almost School Holidays

and this is where I'll be!
This is our caravan at Middlerock, near Nelson Bay!
We love it! The kids can play and run amok, they have so many friends there. They have roaming parties, from one van to the next, then to the park, then to their cubby house. It's a great lifestyle!
The tree in the front that you can see, my husband named Boris, not  sure why? But Boris sometimes smells, because Jack likes to wee on him. What you cant see is the gum trees next to and behind our van, which often have koalas in them, and they might be cute and cuddly, but they're pretty noisy of a night time and they dont sound the way a Koala looks like it should sound!
How lucky are we to have some where to get away most weekends and holidays?

Were definately surrounded by nature,
This cheeky kookaburra swooped out of the tree and stole one of the dummies that the kids had dropped, he sat for ages just thwacking it, I think he must have thought it was a snake.

FUN!!!!!!

Despite everyone being sick... it was a good day in our house!

Today our lovely Australia Postman brought us
*a skateboard for Zac
*stickers for Dad
*and a dolly for Hannah
If only our postie had a big white beard and wore a red suit, we could have Christmas all year round, No need for a chimney!
How exciting, is it though, to get something in the mail that is not bills?
Hannah's doll was meant to be for her birthday in October, but she has been sick for 2 days and when it arrived today I thought it might cheer her up... it did, she loved it!
You can get a doll, made to order for your daughter here

Bring on summer, no more sick kids! Please!!!!

A Bleak yet Productive Sunday

It was a bit grey and blah here in Newcastle today!
Hannah was sick (still is, just put her back to bed with a bowl next to her). Jayden came home from a night at the caravan with Auntie Vicki and he was sick, too! Jack was hungry enough, busy enough and loud enough to make up for the other 2!
In between feeding the ever hungry Jack, giving nurofen, panodol and cuddles to Jayden and Hannah, I made myself a skirt, which I really like! it was great to take the time to make something for me and I plan on doing it again soon! I also made another 2 flower headbands and a wrap skirt which Jordan is modelling for me.
I have been playing with photoshop again tonight, since I got home from work and I edited this photo of Jordan. Tonight I love it, its grungy and out there!

Not too sure that Vicki will want a copy of this one!

Bring on summer, so over all these colds and flu's, tummy bugs, hand foot and mouth disease....

Photoshop and Flower Headbands!

I made this flower headband today for Tianna, which i found the instructions for somewhere on you tube,
you can learn how to do just about anything on you tube! I obviously, took some photos of Hannah in the new headband, and I am thinking it looks pretty good! Definately a great photo prop!
I might have to offer these as freebies with outfits sold!
Talking about being able to learn just about anything on you tube, or the net in general,
I LOVE photos and i love photoshop, its amazing what you can do!
These photos were edited with FREE actions by Paint the Moon, and she also has some great video tutorials .

Little HIPPY cHICK

LiTTLE hIPPY cHICK gIRL!
Lace Shirt and Matching Headband.
How cute is she?
I once again had to bribe Hannah to let me take photos, hence photo no 1! I could take a photo of her taking a photo of me!
Hannah has spent the whole weekend with a handbag slung over her shoulder, it contained 1 camera (pretend), money (pretend), 27 rings, 14 bangles and 1 necklace, she wouldn't even leave the bag at home when we went to the beach and built sandcastles.
Is it possible for girls to get an extra strength girly X chromosome?

Pink, Brown and Yellow Aline Dress with Ruffle

Today I made this new Aline Ruffle Dress and I am on a roll because thats 2 outfits in 2 days that Hannah has loved and happily let me take photos! This is a size 4 and a little too big for Hannah, but still very cute!
There is a coordinating headband to go with this dress, and I think it was for this, that Hannah was willing to cooperate! She did ask me to please not sell this one.
Dress and Headband as a set $35.00 + $6.00 postage
can purchase through
or directly through me via email at

While i was sewing this new outfit and finishing the size 0 Grandma's Tea Towel skirt for Melissa (well her daughter), Jack managed to sneak out the front door, unheard by me due to the sewing machine. Any way I heard a little boy out the front having a chat and knowing Jack figured out that he wanted to know what all the trucks and bulldozers were doing out the front of our house?
Thanks to the blokes from Newcastle City Council who were working on our street today, Jack had a great time! ( definately need to teach him stranger danger though).
Look at the last photo, he wasn't too sure when they shut the door!

Orange Skirt!

I made this outfit today, and I love it! Love the colours, and I love this skirt style (obviously, I keep making them)!
I really didn't think Hannah would like it though. There was NO pink!!!
Hannah is the girliest girl! At the moment she wont leave the house without a ring on every finger and half a dozen necklaces round her neck.
Today going to preschool she had a hairband (from Missy Moo Designs) + a butterfly clip, a necklace, several bangles and was completely distraught when I said NO to the rings. She did get over it though, there were bigger issues... did her cardigan look better buttoned up or not?
Hannah is a girl who knows what she likes, and what she doesn't! Surprisingly, she loved this outfit and was happy to let me take photos, no bribes and no bling!
Thank Heavens for Little Girls..... I think?
$30.00 for the set + $6.00 postage

Green Jelly Dress

Today I made this really cute green jelly dress, but its a size 1 and I dont have any size 1 models. I really wanted to see what it looked like on!
Remember the paper dolls where you could change their clothes over and over,
I used to love playing with them, and I loved playing with these photos! Its not a printable portrait photo but you kind of get the idea of what it looks like on!
This Green Jelly Dress is a size 1 and is $20.00 + $6.00 postage

Yellow Jelly Dress

Hannah has become a bit of a reluctant model lately, (note center photo).
To her defense it has turned cold again here. We had a nice little taste of spring here a couple of days ago, so I know its coming and when it gets here the jelly dresses will be perfect!
I have made this yellow one today and I only have the one, its small probably a size 2.
$20.00 + $6.00 postage.
Enjoy your weekend and Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads for tomorrow!

Super Jack

Jack has spent the last 2 days running around with a towel pretending to be a super hero!
You would think his Mum would make him a real super hero cape!
Look at the motion blur on the last photo, he must be faster than a speeding bullet.

I have just found this free pattern so I WILL make him his own Super Jack cape
