Jelly Dresses

Poor George is off school today with an ear ache and unlike most kids she is disappointed about it, she is missing out on dags day, the kids get to dress up in their daggiest and they get a sausage sizzle, drink and a magic show. Poor George!

She wouldn't be wearing this dress to dags day though!

These colours look great together and the dress is so much fun!

Lucky for me Jordan (George) came by and was able to model this dress for me, it will be available in my madeit store

How great is it to wake up and check emails to find that Hannah Banannas has been featured on such a great site like this! Very cool! Right off to do more sewing now, I am making Jelly Skirts in purples and teals today. I should have some pictures for you later, after I pick my model up from preschool!

Funky Duds

Jack and Hannah had their photoshoot today for Kix Clothing and it was heaps of fun, despite having to walk up Wolfe Street (which I'm sure is the 2nd steepest hill in Newcastle, and its much longer than the steepest!). Anyhow the shoot went great, the kids all looked awesome and Becki let us keep an outfit for the models. This was Jacks favourite! How cool does he look in these funky duds??? Becki makes them out of old mens jumpers, you should visit her store at the Olive Tree Markets this weekend.

First Party Booked

I am so excited and its going to be so much fun, the girls can try on the clothes and we can have a bit of a fashion show, photoshoot and all!
I took some of the clothes to Eli's 1st birthday party and got such an amazing response,

A Photo Shoot

This outfit had a great response the other night when Hannah wore it to a 50th wedding anniversary party.

The hat has had everyone commenting and Hannah loves it because everyone is talking about how cute she is. The hat is also available at madeit for $15.00. I am in the process of making some for boys, Jack is feeling a little left out!

I wish the rain would be stop but atleast while I'm stuck inside I am doing more sewing and crocheting!

Check Dress

Hannah is so proud of herself learning to swing, and just quietly, I'm pretty pleased too, considering she could quite happily swing all day.

So about the dress. A really cute and fun bright check skirt with enough gather for twirling. A bright bodice with ricrac trim and big, bold buttons. Looks great with boots and a skivvy but its also really sweet on its own for a summer frock.
